D. Petaway, RN, BSBA, iCNA
(Mrs. P)
Nursing Director
Mrs. P received her Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix, Las Vegas, Nevada, and her Nursing Degree is from Cuyahoga Community College, Warrensville Township, Ohio.
Over the years, she has served in multiple professional roles, many of which were in community service. She was a Church Nurse where she volunteered for free clinics, community health clinics, and on several occasions, she worked as a telephone operator for the United Negro College Fund. Although, once she became a registered nurse she focused much of her career on the art and practice of nursing. Mostly working as a travel nurse.

Mrs. P's career has afforded her a thorough background in nursing as a whole. From a Certified Nursing Assistant to Nursing Supervisor. She worked with the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), as part of the traveling medical team for the PVA Olympics, then Assistant Director of Nursing to a directorship of Wellness Coordination at an Assisted Living Facility, to a Quality Control Nurse and Educator at a local hospital. She is a three-time nominated, and one-time recipient, of the Daisy Award.

Although Mrs. P has held many different management positions throughout her career, none is more precious to her than her teaching certificate. Thus, she continues her work as an educator at Live Savers Training Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. Where she is the Nursing Director and an instructor.
She is currently an active member while holding offices of multiple healthcare organizations:
*Southern Nevada Black Nurses Association, Inc
*Chi Eta Phi, Inc Eta Eta Eta Chapter- Las Vegas
*Battle Born Medical Corps Provisional Volunteers
*Statewide Volunteer Pool
*Medical Reserve Corp of Southern Nevada
Her hobbies include hanging out with the family, reading, walking, and skiing. This is why she is also an active member of the National Brotherhood of Skiers.

Mrs. P has lived in many states but is now a permanent resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. She has found her work-home with Live Savers Training Center.
Tammy Raba, RN, iCNA
(Mrs. Tammy)
Nursing Instructor
Mrs. Tammy grew up in the high desert of Southern California. Throughout her entire life she planned to become a Registered Nurse. She started her RN career as an orthopedic nurse at Sunrise Hospital in 1993. Later on she chose to specialize in the Neurological ICU which she worked both at Sunrise Hospital and Mountain View Hospital. She left acute care nursing in 2018 to work as a home health RN. In 2020 she was invited to become a CNA course instructor. Which she very much enjoys, while still doing occasional home health visits. On her off days Tammy enjoys being outdoors hiking, gardening, or pampering her dog and her 2 bunnies. She enjoys thrift shopping, spending time with her husband, and grandchildren.
